Turmeric Detox Salted Buttermilk and lassi

  • 1 Cup milk
  • 2 Cups yogurt
  • 2 Tablespoons rose water
  • 1 Cup water
  • 2 Tablespoons Fennel Seeds
  • Salt as per taste
  • Black pepper as per taste
  • 8 Fresh leaves mint
  • 5 Fresh leaves basil
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons roasted cumin seeds powder
  • 1/4 Tablespoon Turmeric


  1. Make powder of fennel seeds and roasted cumin seeds separately and use it when blending all the indgredients. check tips below how to make roasted cumin powder. 

    Blend all the ingredients in a blender for couple of minutes. When all the ingredients mixes together then its ready and serve it.

Recipe Notes

To make the roasted cumin powder - take some cumin seeds on a pan, on the stove , roast it for few seconds , the fragrance will be very nice. Churn this in a blender to make powder and later use it in the recipe. I usually have this ready, as I use it a lot in my recipes. If made extra powder , keep it in an air tight container and use it later in salad or whatever you feel like.
