Mix all the batter ingredients well in a bowl, pour small amount of water to make it into batter
(start with small amount of water, increase it if desired consistency is not formed . It shouldn’t be runny or too thick).
Mix all the potato filling ingredients well.
Put the oil in a pan to fry.
Slice the bread into rectangular / triangular shape. Start with adding the potato filling on 1 slice, put another slice of bread on it and make it like a sandwich. Dip and coat it well in the prepared batter.
Repeat the process for remaining and serve it hot with chutney or ketchup.
Be careful while frying
Use a paper kitchen towel to absorb the extra oil, put it on a paper towel after frying.
